Bethany Church

John 8:12 “I am the light of the world.”

Bethany Church is the anchor church in southern York County. We seek to be a helpful guiding light of Jesus to those who are looking for a purposeful direction. Historically, Bethany Church has always provided a beacon of hope in times of uncertainty. Bethany Church is a local church that is prepared to welcome anyone whose church has closed or disaffiliated. Bethany Church is a place where you will find spaces and persons of peace who will journey with you during a difficult season in your spiritual journey to become a disciple of Jesus. If you find yourself disconnected from the church, please be assured that there is still a place for you in the United Methodist Church. Our church may be just what you need to help you through this unexpected season and help you stay United Methodist.

There is a place for all in the United Methodist and Bethany Church is committed to:

  1. Being a welcoming place for everyone to belong to during a difficult time.
  2. Bethany Church is prepared to offer Biblical truth, Biblical care, Biblical relationships, and the love of Jesus.
  3. Bethany Church will be providing opportunities to engage in their ministries, small groups, Bible study and fellowship, as we grow in our belonging, believing and becoming with Jesus.
  4. Bethany Church also will be providing: opportunities for worship: including online and/or in person
  5. Bethany Church invites you to be on mission: through opportunities to serve hands-on missions and ministries to share God’s love with others
  6. We realize that not one church fits all people. You are invited to be with us, join with us and if Bethany isn’t going to be your landing space, we are committed to helping you find another place to connect with God and grow in your discipleship of Jesus.
